Gloria presented the call to choose Miss Santa Cruz 2011 and since early this year made the selection of candidates who are between 16 and 18. Today we present nine girls who, for duty, are likely to be in the final list.

- Being born female.
- Being single and childless.
- Possess impeccable moral conduct.
- Being thin and having a harmonious figure.
- Being pretty face and nice treatment.
- Possess acceptable cultural and intellectual level.
- Have a minimum height of 1.68 m.
